The guest this week was Senator and Democrat David Carlucci
(D-Rockland/Westchester) who represents the 38th District in the New York State
Senate. Senator Carlucci and I discussed the new law that he sponsored
that allows 16- and 17-year-olds to fill out the voter registration application
online or at a local Department of Motor Vehicles office in advance of their
18th birthday. It is a significant boost to our younger generation and
their desire to be heard. Also joining the show are two young community
activists who hopefully will inspire anyone in the 18-25 year old demographic
to get involved. All this and more. We read all our emails. Keep
