TODAY'S VERDICT, 12/10/19
It’s our holiday show!
With the season in full force and effect, many of us now use the
internet as our default when Christmas Shopping. But fraud is everywhere. Luckily, the Commissioner of the NYC Dep’t of
Consumer Affairs, Lorelei Salas was our special guest. And keeping with this theme, as a consumer
your information is kept and sold to other companies. How does this affect your credit and how do
you clear the mistake? Attorney Adam
Singer gave us some much needed advice.
And finally, a young and aspiring YouTuber makes his third appearance on
the show. Brody Lesch was on set. Have a great holiday as we will see you in
early January. Here is the link to our
holiday show:

TODAY'S VERDICT, 11/12/19
“It would be wryly interesting if in human history the cultivation of marijuana led generally to the invention of agriculture, and thereby to civilization.” -Carl Sagan
Cannabis, it’s the new rage. At least from a legal perspective. And it also happens to be our most requested topic. So to start our new season I thought it was a good idea to interview three top attorneys who specialize in all things cannabis as they took us through decriminalization and the march toward legalization. In the meantime, don’t light up before you know the law in NY State.
And as if that’s not enough, why not start the show with ICE and your rights once an agent knocks on your door at home or at work. Lymari Casta, Esq, featured regularly on News 12 sat done for a nice one on one. Today’s Verdict is back making sure you get some knowledge. So have a watch and keep the topics coming:
Thursday, October 24, 2019

Employees
who work for tips usually come up short when it comes to legal
protections. But the scales are “tipping
back”. On this week’s show Attorney
Raymond Nardo was on set to help make sure you know your rights when it comes
to earning a living. Which leads us to
the second half of our show. Losing your
job and the right to not only state benefits, but benefits directly from your
employer. Vincent White, Esq was

When
you show up to work neither your skin color nor gender are relevant. But sadly this is not always the case. This type of discrimination is alive and well
in the workforce. On last night’s Today’s
Verdict with David Lesch our guest Dana Lossia was on set to let you know how
to protect yourself. Also, a creditor is
someone who has the right to a debt. But
what happens when your debt is sold to other creditors? How do you clear your name? Who has priority over the monies you
owe? Robert Michaelson Esq. returned to
the show to “clear” the air. If you
missed the show on tv last night the show is now online:

So, you like sports?
Dan Lust, Esq, wrote an article that was picked up by the national media
detailing the potential medical malpractice claim basketball star Kevin Durant
may now have. After touring various
outlets, he made it to our studio.
So, you like social media? Justin Blitz, Esq, gave our viewers the scary
reality of all the material now used by trial attorneys to impeach and gather
evidence. Beware what you post, and if

the they await juvenile arraignment.

TODAY'S VERDICT, 6/25/19
I have to say, before this week’s show I did not know what a Qui Tam Action was. Andrea Fischer, Esq. was on set to teach my fellow attorneys the nuts and bolts when it comes to stepping into the shoes of the government to bring an action for fraud. Also, it seems like every news story throughout our nation has an innocent victim wrongly arrested and imprisoned. We thought it was time to bring in a criminal defense attorney with a strong record against the prosecution. Peter Schaffer sat for a nice interview. The show is now online and will hit MNN channel 34 in Manhattan in two weeks:

Many employers expect their employees to arrive early for
work and stay past closing time. But
when it comes to the laws governing overtime suddenly the boss is
forgetful. But don’t worry, on this
week’s Todays Verdict with David Lesch “Wage and Hour Law” was on full
display. We also went out to the
community with our cameras to ask if you have been personally affected by an
employer failing to add to your paycheck.
Siobhan Klassen, Esq. and Irene Chan, Esq. of Phillips
& Associates were on set as our experts.
