With Spring now here it was time to discuss New York Boating Laws. On "Open" this morning I tried to give an overview of the rules and regulations that every passenger on a boat should know. Next week I am going to tackle "Personal Water Crafts", in other words, Wave Runners.

Last night's show was very informative. Ken Small and Tim Sarraille, both from BronxWorks (formerly the Citizens Advice Bureau) discussed the 2010 Census and why it is so important to fill out the forms. From a Bronx perspective, it is so important that we be counted. Federal funds are at stake. David Lesch

This morning on "Open" I discussedthree misconceptions concerning Living Wills. The best advice I can give, if you are going to get a Living Will, make sure you couple it with a Health Care Proxy. Only then will you really be protected in the event you are incapacitated.
We had a great show last night. We discussed the controversial topic: legalizing marijuana. We looked at it from two perspectives, legalizing marijuana only for patients with a medical condition, and legalizing marijuana generally.
