On this edition of Today’s Verdict with David Lesch, we speak with attorney Kevin Fritz, from Meister Seelig & Fein LLP about the New York Collegiate Athletic Participation Compensation Act that authorizes student-athletes to receive compensation when the college they are attending uses their NIL to endorse products and services.  This without forfeiting their eligibility to compete in intercollegiate athletics. Next up, Christina Asbee from Disability Rights New York tells us about the current NY state law pertaining to service and emotional support animals in public spaces or facilities. Lastly, attorney Juliet Eisenstein, Esq. from Advocates for Children of New York argues why she believes the taking of the New York State Regents Exams should be eliminated as a graduation requirement.  The show is now online:
