This morning on "Open" I discussed "Carbon Monoxide" poisoning and your legal right to a detector installed by the homeowner. Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless gas that can cause brain damage and, in severe cases, death. NY now has a strict law mandating the placement of a detector within 15 feet of a bedroom. So make sure you comply. Your life may depend on it. David Lesch, Esq.
