What criminal law series would be complete without discussing the 4th Amendment, more commonly known as the right against unlawful "searches and seizures." Today on "Open", I defined certain legal terms: "probable cause", "warrants", "right of Privacy". The history of the 4th amendment could take months to explore. Let's just say, many judges look at your right against unlawful searches and seizures rather differently. Next week, we get into the actual scenerios. Stay tuned.
